Evin and I went to Stolipinovo - the largest Roma ghetto in the Balkans, located in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. We wanted to see how the other half lives and experience a completely different side of Bulgaria. Stolipinovo is a very poor area with high crime rates, and we were super uncomfortable walking around there as foreigners. I bought a hood coffee at the ghetto wending machine and started running to the bus stop to get out of here!

5/6This broken bench that I'm sitting on is actually a bus stop in Stolipinovo.
6/6The piles of trash in Stolipinovo are unreal. It's actually so sad to see people living like this.
