Sillamรคe is a closed Soviet town in Estonia, right by the Russian border. It was a secret city during the Soviet era, where they produced uranium for nuclear bombs. Today it's a quiet, eerie town with a unique mix of Soviet and Nordic architecture. I explored the abandoned buildings, walked along the beach, and tried to imagine what life was like here during the Cold War. There's something fascinating about a place that was once hidden from the world. One of my favourite trips ever!
